Brighter Futures Family Resource Society was established in 1994 in response to families who felt their rural locations isolated their access to regular programming opportunities geared toward children and parent supports. We are currently proud to provide a variety of programs and services such as:
Stay, Play & Grow free drop in programs for 0-6 year olds and their caregivers,
Wiggles & Giggles free drop in baby group for 0-2 year olds and their caregivers,
Nutritious Beginnings Program for at-risk pregnant mothers,
Baby's Essentials Program for caregivers with babies up to 12 months going through times of financial hardship,
Resource Library filled with parenting and mental health resources, and
Kimochis and Second Step programs are available to Daycares, Preschools, & Kindergarten classrooms in our service area.
Brighter Futures Resource Society staff provides information, encouragement, programming, individual and family support in response to the life situations that family members may find particularly challenging. Programs are designed to increase access to needed services, to improve social/emotional and physical development of children through interactive programming. We help parents prevent or resolve problems, develop new skills, and learn how to participate more effectively in their children’s development.
